1. Once the modem hardware has been installed, Windows 2000 will detect a new hardware device. Click Next to continue.
2. Select Search for a suitable driver. Click Next.
3. Check Specify a location and click Next.
4. Browse to the path you extracted the driver files to e.g. c:\dynalink. Click OK.
5. Windows will find the location of the driver. Click Next.
6. A Digital Signature prompt will appear. Click Yes to continue.
7. Click Finish to complete the installation.
8. Before using the modem, you must specify your country. Double click "My Computer”, then the “Control Panel” icon. Double click “Phone and Modem Options” icon.
9. From the Modems tab, highlight Conexant HCF PCI Modem and click the Properties button.
10. From the Advanced tab, scroll to the bottom of the Country Select list and select either Australia or New Zealand. Click OK, OK.

Congratulations - you have succesfully installed the Dynalink 1456VQH-R1 PCI Modem under Windows 2000. The modem is now ready for use.
