- Once the modem hardware has been installed,
Windows 2000 will detect a new hardware device. Click Next to
continue.
- Select Search for a suitable driver.
Click Next.
- Check Specify a location and
click Next.
- Browse to the path you extracted the
driver files to e.g. c:\dynalink. Click OK.
- Windows will find the location of the
driver. Click Next.
- A Digital Signature prompt will
appear. Click Yes to continue.
- Click Finish to complete the installation.
- Before using the modem, you must
specify your country. Double click "My Computer, then
the Control Panel icon. Double click Phone and Modem
Options icon.
- From the Modems tab, highlight
Conexant HCF PCI Modem and click the Properties button.
- From the Advanced tab, scroll
to the bottom of the Country Select list and select either Australia
or New Zealand. Click OK, OK.
Congratulations - you have
succesfully installed the Dynalink 1456VQH-R1 PCI Modem under Windows
2000. The modem is now ready for use.
