Fast Ethernet LAN and Home LAN connection

 

1.    There are three ports on this adapter, one is RJ-45 port for Fast Ethernet

      (10 or 100Mbps), the other two ports are RJ-11 ports. The two RJ-11 ports

      are in the same line, they have same signal. The two Rj-11 ports are for Home

      LAN (1Mbps) connection and telephone connection.

 

2.    Fast Ethernet and Home LAN function can not work at same time, so

     please connect to either RJ-45 or RJ-11 port at one time. (note: you can

     connect to the two RJ-11 ports at the same time). If you connect Fast

     Ethernet and Home LAN simultaneously, only Fast Ethernet works.

 

 

 

Windows 98 Installation

1.  Insert the USB 10/100 FastEthernet + HomeLAN Adapter (later we will call it "the Device" )  

     into  an USB port,  Windows98 will recognize the device. Click  "Next".

         

2. Select "Search for the best driver for your device. (Recommended)." and click "Next".

          

3. Insert the driver disk and select the driver location, then click "Next".

          

4. Windows 98 will search and recognize the driver of the Device, click "Next".

          

5. Windows will automatically copy the driver files and related files into your system.

    After copying the driver files, the device installation is completed, click "Finish".

          

6.  Reboot your system, the USB 10/100 FastEthernet+HomeLAN adapter will be ready.

 

 

Uninstall the Device Driver

1. Go to  System Properties under Control Panel.

2. Select  "Device Manager" , and select "Network Adapter".

3. Make sure   you want to remove the USB 10/100 FastEthernet + HomeLAN  driver,  and click "Remove".

          

 

 

Windows 2000 Installation

1.  Insert the USB 10/100 FastEthernet + HomeLAN adapter  into an USB port.

     Windows 2000 will show "Found New Hardware Wizard" , Click "Next".

        

2. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device" and click "Next" .

         

3. Insert the driver disk and select the location where the driver is located, then click "Next".

         

4. The windows found the driver, click "Next" to continue.

         

5. Digital signature not found, click "Yes"  to continue the installation.

          

6.  Windows will automatically copy the driver files and related files into your system.

     After copying the driver files, the device installation is completed, click "Finish".

          

7.  Reboot your system, the USB 10/100 FastEthernet+HomeLAN adapter will be ready.
